My name is Lise van Niekerk. Although my family has Swiss roots, I was born and live in South Africa with my husband. Together we have raised a bunch of great kids, travelled, laughed, fought and made up again. I love people, different cultures, music, adventure, nature, good food and photography.

Many moons ago I did a degree in Communication and Anthropology and a Diploma in Theology. More recently I finished Psychology as a major and am currently busy doing another ministry course where I’m learning a lot. I’m involved in part-time ministry assisting people with relationship problems and I love every minute of it.

In the midst of everyday living, work and raising a family, I have always had questions about the sense of it all. The “why” of life and the “how” of meaningful relationships.

This site, its content and I am a work in progress. Through many experiences and study, I have found that happiness and fulfilment boils down to some pretty basic stuff. I am sharing with you what I have discovered and hope it will help you along your journey.
